SAFe® for Teams
(Certified SAFe® Practitioner – SP)

Including the official SAFe® Practitioner Certification Exam

Content

Build your skills as a high-performing team member of an Agile Release Train (ART)—and learn how to collaborate effectively with other teams. Gain an in-depth understanding of the Agile Release Train (ART), how it delivers value, and what you can do to effectively perform your role using Scrum, Kanban, and XP.

The Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®) is the world’s most trusted system for scaling Lean and Agile practices and establishing Business Agility across the entire organization.

While many agile frameworks and methods have been initially designed to be applicable to one or only a few agile teams, most organizations nowadays work in complex systems, with many cross-depending collaborative teams, which in many cases are also geographically dislocated. To bring in the benefits of faster, quality-built-in deliveries, and quick responses to customer demands, this requires well organised and synchronised system across the whole organisation.

Agile transformation on a large scale can be prone to failures due to a lack of proper understanding, existing processes or rigid legacy structures, and it might lead to agile implementations not yielding the expected adaptation results.

Establishing high performing Agile teams

Self-organizing and self-managing cross-functional Agile teams are the running motor of an Agile Release Train (ART), when delivering results that meet the needs and expectations of the customers and stakeholders.

SAFe® Practitioner is highly skilled professional, who together with other Agile team members defines (elaboration and design), builds (implementation), and tests (validation) increments of value.
